Forth week

On the third week, I learned something about the art of negotiation skills. I love the trainer so much. The trainer is Mr. Hisham Ab Karim. He made our day cheerful. On that day we were given a task, kind of you have to negotiate to get something. I laughed a lot on that day but I also learned a lots about negotiation skills. If you want to negotiate you have to know what you really want and what is your target. You have to focus. All the groups manage to finish the task. Some of the group got the negotiation and some were not. Thank you Mr. Hisham.

The next two days which are on Tuesday and Wednesday, we were exposed and given an explanation about the writing an article for publication. The trainers are Miss Liew Suet Fun, Miss Sarasvati and Miss Evelyn. I am not so good in writing. From the lecture given by Miss Suet Fun, at least I have some ideas about writing. Miss Suet Fun have a great experience in writing and she also published a few books. I appreciated so much for the knowledge that she shared with us in BeST. To be a good writer is not an easy job. You need to have a passion and you also have to be creative. Without an ideas, you cannot write. By reading a lot of reading materials it will also help us to write well. From the two days training, I also been taught that to write an awesome article you have to be creative in taking a picture, how you want to organize it and the suitable colour you want to use. This is basically what we need in order to write articles.

On Thursday, we learned about the role of neuro linguistic programming in communication. In short, we call it as NLP. The trainer is Mr. Faizal Kamal Bin Mohamed. Is was a new experience to me. We did some of activities during that day. We were taught that we can programm our brain. We also can delete the negative thing in our mind. Somehow, I am not fully believed to this because many activities that we were done not working on me. So, it hard to believe. Perhaps, I was not so focus on that day. But, I was totally agreed with the positive thinking. This was not the first time I heard about it. I had read the book about the positive thinking before and I applied that. If you want something, and you really focus to get it, and you are positive you will get it, most probably you will get. But you have to remember, don't you ever think in negative way because it will affect what you are thinking. So, think positive in whatever you do.

This was basically what we were done on the third week of training.

communication skills

this is already third week i've been in this program.For last two weeks, we learned how to write an effective resume and cover letter, interview techniques, advanced report writing, effective meeting and public speaking.It is such a great opportunities to be here.This program exposed me a lot in writing and communication skills.I already learned how to write a resume and cover letter during my study.We are also learned how to conduct a public speaking but it is 2 years ago.I already forgot what I've learned.By participating this program, at least I can recall what i had learned.It is so much useful for my future.

I had experience writing a cover letter but I've never heard about thank you n follow up letter.I learned something new.Now, I know how to write an effective resume.From the lecture that I attended, to write an effective resume you have to ensure that your resume not too long.It should be in 1 or 2 pages. Not more than that.2 pages are more preferable but it should have sufficient information.It must have your personal particulars, qualifications, achievements and activities.The word and language you choose must be impressive.It must be easy to read. Your resume must be well organized with clear headings, brief statements of responsibility, bulleted points for emphasizing achievements.So, make sure your resume is effective before send it to your dream company because resumes are first put to use to screen out the candidates from further consideration.REMEMBER!!!! Meeting?????i am sure that everyone familiar with it...nothing much to share about this...i had experience attending meeting...but for once....during my internship...i had meeting with KTAK, JBA, engineers and consultant..such a great experience...at least, i knew how is meeting being conducted....we had a great session with mdm iriz n miss sofia...million thanks to them..what i've learned, before meeting, we should know the purpose of the meeting...never conduct a meeting for nothing....it waste ur time...ur meeting must hv agenda....distribute the agenda to the members of meeting....so, members will be preapred...meeting should start and end on time...that's all about meeting i like to share...(",)

i gain a new experience today...i did mock interview..i've never attend any interview before...it is a great experience....now, i know what should i do before attending an interview...how to handle ur nervous and stress...what kind of question will be asked...job interviews are always stressful...here, there are some tips i like to share with u all...ahaaa.....the best way to reduce stress is to be prepared...take the time to review tha standard interview questions u'll be most likely asked...then, take theh time to research the company....that u'll be ready with knowledgable answer for the job interview question which is specifically relate to the company u're interviewing with...how's my tips..???hopefully, it will help u all...thank u to mr farizal, mdm tara n misss sofia.....(",)

My first impression about UNIRAZAK

Hello everyone!I am Sharifah Rozaine Syed Ibrahim. People call me Sha. This is our first assignment we have to do. This is my first time creating blog. I've never do this before. Our first assigment is to write our first impression about UniRazak. This is first time I've been here.If I'm not participating this program perhaps I've never come here. It such a nice place.
